HOLINESS PLACES A DEMAND FOR THE FEAR OF THE LORD
The fear of the Lord is an integral part of growing into Holiness.
2 Corinthians 7:1 NKJV
Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
- Holiness is not automatic — it must be perfected

PERFECTING HOLINESS IN THE FEAR OF THE LORD - The environment in which holiness is perfected is the fear of God
- Holiness demands reverence, obedience, and accountability
- The fear of the LORD is presented as the means by which holiness is maintained
Leviticus 19:2 NKJV
(2) “Speak to all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘You shall be holy, for I the LORD your God am holy.
Because God is holy, those who belong to Him must respond with reverent fear, not casual familiarity.
Holiness is not sustained by grace abused, but by grace stewarded through the fear of the LORD. Where the fear of God is absent, holiness quickly erodes.
Leviticus 20:26 NKJV
“And you shall be holy to Me, for I the LORD am holy, and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be Mine.”
Family of God, holiness is not first about behavior — it is about belonging.
God says, “I have separated you… that you should be Mine.”

It is a covenant posture of the heart that aligns a believer with God’s wisdom, protection, and blessing.
