Word and destiny for 2019

We have come to the end of 2018 which for many of us has been a hard and challenging year. It has been a year in which we faced many battles and had to learn to overcome the enemies in our lives.

The number nineteen in ancient times have been known as the Number of Surrender which is significant given the fact that the Lord is emphasizing that we need to get aligned to that what is burning in the heart of God the Father

There are not one believer that do not know that the burden of the heart of God is upon every Household to reach out and touch the nations with the Word that we carry.

I sense that at this time there is urgency in the heart of the Father for us as a company of believers to respond to the call of the Lord in this matter.

Please allow me to share with you what the Lord has placed upon my heart as we enter into the new year of 2019.

The 2019 year can possibly be one of the most heavenly minded years that many people have ever seen.

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Phil. 3:14).

The word “high” in the verse above is the same as “upward or above.” What Paul is referring to in this passage is: The highest calling in our life is the call that is above everything else on earth; it is the pursuit of kingdom life, which transcends the lowest level (death). Paul is making a connection that walking with Jesus on earth will bring us both the “overcoming life” and the “eternal life,” which therefore becomes the highest calling we can ever pursue. Paul sees both the race (living the kingdom on earth) and the prize (being with Jesus for eternity) as the highest level of living that is possible. At the end, we win both the race and the prize.

2019 is the year of the higher calling: Living in the heavenlies while we are fruitful on earth.

There are specific demands that God is placing in the Spirit to us as His Sons:

  1. Priorities of the world will drop lower; kingdom responsibilities will rise higher.  The church are coming out of an entertainment mindset to display kingdom power to the world. The Lord’s church wasn’t designed to be tucked away in the closet somewhere.  The time has come to arise and shine.
  2. This year is a year for Eagles to arise.  Eagles welcome extreme locations and situations in order to see views that no other eagle could see. If you want to see further than everyone else, you must be willing to position yourself where no one else is willing to go.  There is a greater responsibility being placed on fathers of sons to position themselves on the mountaintops in order to see at a much greater distance than in the past. The office of the apostles and prophets will have a higher respect among believers, one that reaches further out into other denominations and fellowships that once denied the apostolic prophetic voice of the church.
  3. It’s the end of living a half-hearted life.  For many sons, 2019 will mark the end of a half-hearted lifestyle, one that only produces just enough to get by until we die. This coming year is the end of how we choose to live our lives versus how God wants us to live for Him. It’s time to catch fire and increase the voltage.

FIRST FRUIT WEEK OF 2019

Further to the above we are also declaring the First Week of 2019 a First Fruit unto the Lord in which we dedicate ourselves to seek the face of the Lord.
I created a series of short video messages, one for each day of the seven days.  These can be accessed at You Tube at the following links:

WALK WORTHY OF THE CALL

Eph 4:1-3 NKJV

(1)  I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called,

(2)  with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love,

(3)  endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

There is a undeniable need today for Christians to recover their sense of their high calling which graced our forefathers and filled them with courage, nobility and enduring commitment to Christ, as well as to one another. Something beyond ordinary religious duty and mere emotional loyalties must lift our thoughts and labours to match those of our predecessors.

Certainly, however, we must realize that it is the Lord’s intention that we excel in faith, hope and love. Think of it as an ongoing journey of advanced excellence.

Our success in this regard will be the validation of our faith, and a fitting tribute to the faithfulness of those who have gone before us. They laid their lives down to bring the Gospel thus far; we, for our part, must now lay our lives down and carry it further!

Advanced excellence is inherent within the call of God upon our lives. The path of the righteous is like the light of day, shining brighter and brighter unto the perfect day

Pro 4:18 NKJV

But the path of the just is like the shining sun, That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.

It gets brighter and better with each passing moment. It becomes more dynamic with each successive generation.

The first miracle performed by Jesus was at a wedding in Cana of Galilee. It was there that He turned the water into wine, and the host at the wedding exclaimed, “You have saved the best for now!”(John 2:10). Surely, this pattern will hold true as well for the Church in these last days. The Lord will save the best for last. Just as the prophet Haggai wrote, “and the glory of the latter house shall be greater than that of the former.” (Hag 2:9) – so it shall be.

The churches finest hour is upon us! We are the chosen generation. We must not look to the former days of glory with vain imaginations of how wonderful it would’ve been for us to have been there. Nor can we look only to the future and console ourselves with how blissful it is going to be once Jesus returns.

Today is the day of Salvation. We must answer the call of the Lord for our time. We must walk worthy of the call in this our day. We must sense the moment that God has provided, and seize the momentum of God’s Spirit in bringing forth His purposes in this generation.

There may indeed be those to whom we will faithfully pass the torch in the days to come, and through whom even greater glory may abound to Christ our King. But we must first run our race so that we might have a torch to pass. We must take our place in the succession of the Faithful and do our part to keep the Faith in this our time.

I CALL UPON EVERY SON OF GOD TO HEED THIS CALL OF THE LORD AND TO RUN THE RACE FAITHFULLY AS AN OVERCOMER

Prophetic word and destiny for 2016

Psalms 2:1-12 AMP

  1. WHY DO the nations assemble with commotion [uproar and confusion of voices], and why do the people imagine (meditate upon and devise) an empty scheme?
  2. The kings of the earth take their places; the rulers take counsel together against the Lord and His Anointed One (the Messiah, the Christ). They say, [Acts 4:25-27.]
  3. Let us break Their bands [of restraint] asunder and cast Their cords [of control] from us.
  4. He Who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord has them in derision [and in supreme contempt He mocks them].
  5. He speaks to them in His deep anger and troubles (terrifies and confounds) them in His displeasure and fury, saying,
  6. Yet have I anointed (installed and placed) My King [firmly] on My holy hill of Zion.
  7. I will declare the decree of the Lord: He said to Me, You are My Son; this day [I declare] I have begotten You. [Heb. 1:5; 3:5, 6; II Pet. 1:17, 18.]
  8. Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations as Your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth as Your possession.
  9. You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them in pieces like potters’ ware. [Rev. 12:5; 19:15.]
  10. Now therefore, O you kings, act wisely; be instructed and warned, O you rulers of the earth.
  11. Serve the Lord with reverent awe and worshipful fear; rejoice and be in high spirits with trembling [lest you displease Him].
  12. Kiss the Son [pay homage to Him in purity], lest He be angry and you perish in the way, for soon shall His wrath be kindled. O blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied) are all those who seek refuge and put their trust in Him!

I will give You the nations as Your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth as Your possession

This is a promise. According to the promise, we will

  • Publish books,
  • Broadcast sermons,
  • Stream our services
  • Start a Word School for the nations,
  • Establish Households all over the nations, and

Send Sons to establish the Kingdom all around the world in planting Households of Faith.

I believe that God will accomplish all these things as we respond in obedience to his direction and plans. You need to seek the face of God as to where you fit into this picture. God is serious about this…. Are you?

The demand is that we have to ask God for the nations. It will not fall into your lap without any effort.

The Word ASK is the Word shâ’al    shâ’êl

And it means to inquire; by implication to request; by extension to demand: – earnestly, enquire,

In  Psalm 2 lies the foundation for what the Holy Spirit is doing now in preparing His sons who will receive the inheritance with the Lord Jesus.

Romans 8:17 AMP

And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory.

Those of us who have an understanding unto what we have been called also understand why we are under attack and can therefor better withstand the assaults. At the present, time we often experience these attacks as primarily spiritual. The strategy of the enemy is to bring us to that place where we cannot, or will not, come up with the strength to withstand him.

Those sons who will stand up against him to become overcomers are those in whose minds the Word of God has taken prominence so that it overshadows the trash and misinformation fed by the world systems. Increasingly we will watch the strength of the enemy spread through the social, economic and political realms under which we all live. Soon no part of our lives as believers will be without demonic pressure like we have never known. For this reason, the Holy Spirit is pressing us now into living out of the resources of God’s Kingdom and to know His Covenant purposes before the world systems reject us wholly.

We remember Jesus said:

Matthew 24:9 AMP

Then they will hand you over to suffer affliction and tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.

John 16:33 AMP

I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]

If we know the prophetic Word and the Covenant Promise of Ps 2, and the triumph the Lord Jesus obtained for us, we are on our way to find the spiritual strength that will empower us to come through as true sons that are overcomers in this world.

It is a decree from God settling that His Anointed Son will rule the nations. Those of us who know His dominion now and have submitted to His Kingdom’s purpose for us, have discovered already the power of His rule.

Now let us revisit Psalm 2 and the revelatory truth that it holds.

Psalms 2:7-9 AMP

(7)  I will declare the decree of the Lord: He said to Me, You are My Son; this day [I declare] I have begotten You. [Heb. 1:5; 3:5, 6; II Pet. 1:17, 18.]

(8)  Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations as Your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth as Your possession.

(9)  You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them in pieces like potters’ ware. [Rev. 12:5; 19:15.]

The prophet here speaks, admonishing the rulers to reconsider their resolution. (Verses 10-12)

 Psalms 2:10-12 AMP

(10)  Now therefore, O you kings, act wisely; be instructed and warned, O you rulers of the earth.

(11)  Serve the Lord with reverent awe and worshipful fear; rejoice and be in high spirits with trembling [lest you displease Him].

(12)  Kiss the Son [pay homage to Him in purity], lest He be angry and you perish in the way, for soon shall His wrath be kindled. O blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied) are all those who seek refuge and put their trust in Him!

What power! What conquest! What dominion! What authority! We could go on with exclamations. What triumph there is for mercy and grace! In the midst of all His enemies, the Son of God reigns. This is because of the powerful Covenant Promise His Father made to Him. God’s Word cannot be broken.

Revelation 2:26-27 AMP

(26)  And he who overcomes (is victorious) and who obeys My commands to the [very] end [doing the works that please Me], I will give him authority and power over the nations;

(27)  And he shall rule them with a sceptre (rod) of iron, as when earthen pots are broken in pieces, and [his power over them shall be] like that which I Myself have received from My Father; [Ps. 2:8, 9.]

In speaking to the overcomer, He used language from Ps 2. This passage is so powerful we should see it again as it flows out of the Greek New Testament.

26 And he who overcomes (“persists with victory in the conflict with evil”) and keeps (“guards like a sentry”) my works unto the end (“unto their full performance”) to him will I give power (from the Greek exousía, meaning “executive power, authority”) over the nations.

27 And he will rule them (as a shepherd would tend a flock of sheep) with a rod of iron (“an unbending, unyielding staff, or scepter, of rule”) As the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers, even as I also have received from My Father (as recorded in Ps 2:8,9).

Let us also look at Rev 5

Revelation 5:9-10 AMP

(9)  And [now] they sing a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the scroll and to break the seals that are on it, for You were slain (sacrificed), and with Your blood You purchased men unto God from every tribe and language and people and nation. [Ps. 33:3.]

(10)  And You have made them a kingdom (royal race) and priests to our God, and they shall reign [as kings] over the earth! [Exod. 19:6; Isa. 61:6.]

It begins laying out the answer. It tells of a company who will reign on the earth with the Lord. They have been redeemed by His blood. There is no person who has any hope of attaining that position of being an overcomer, or of ruling with the Lord Jesus, who has not come by the blood of His Redemption.

I believe that in 2016 as a corporate son and as individual sons we need to step into this position of being an overcomer. Begin to ask the Lord for your inheritance in the nations. Do not be passive. Now is the time to arise and walk into your destiny as a son.

These heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ are the objects of Babylonian and demonic wrath coming upon us in this time with an unbending fury.
